Window Art Project

About the Exhibition

MadArt's Window Art Project, was a public art exhibition that showcased artwork in premier storefront windows located in the Madison Park business district, September 12 – October 4, 2009.  Eighteen stores hosted art by local, emerging artists.  Artwork highlighted a range of mediums, from painting and sculpture to mixed media installations.  Each installation was site specific and easily viewed from the sidewalk.  The opening event, held on September 12, in Madison Park, gave participating artists an opportunity to discuss the project and their works.
