Bryan Ohno

- Director of MadArt

 

Bryan was born in Manhattan, NY, and graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in Fine Arts in 1985.  From 1988-1991, he was the director of C2 Gallery, a contemporary American art gallery, in Tokyo, Japan.  From 1991-1995, he became the business manager for Chihuly Studio, tasked to expand the market in the US and Asia.  Bryan then opened his own gallery, the Bryan Ohno Gallery, in Pioneer Square, Seattle, in 1996.  The gallery was open until 2005.  Bryan organized the 5th annual West Edge Sculpture Exhibition in Seattle.  Currently, Bryan serves as a consultant and develops new exhibition concepts that embrace art, architecture, and science.
